Vancouver Ukulele Festival 2012

Ruby's Ukes presents the 3rd Annual Vancouver Ukulele Festival.  After last year's sold out festival this Fun weekend is back, and will leave you smiling and a whole lot smarter! So Join us for an extraordinaire weekend of workshops, performances, jams, and all things Ukulele!

The 2012 Langley Ukulele Workshop

If the past workshops were any indication, the Langley Ukulele Workshop is one of the biggest ukulele workshops in BC / Western Canada and the Pacifica Northwest. The 2012 workshop will undoubtedly be the main event once again in the fall. If you are planning on attending just one Ukulele Workshop in a year, THIS is the one! The workshop will once again offer classes for teachers and players of all levels, in both C6 and D6 tunings at all levels of skill and abilities.

Vancouver Island Ukulele Workshop 2013

This one day workshop will be offered to Vancouver Island music teachers and all ukulele enthusiasts. The annual one day, mini-workshop offers skill sessions and "hands on" learning and accommodates teachers and participants at all skill levels so that everyone will feel "at home" during the sessions. The workshop offers instruction based on the outstanding "Doane Ukulele Method" and focuses on developing ukulele playing skills, pedagogy for teachers, repertoire sharing, and more.

Workshop date: January 19th, 2013

Location: Oak Bay High School - West, 2101 - Cadboro Bay Rd., Victoria, BC.

Workshop Cost: $50 ( $35 university students and Seniors). Registration includes light lunch.
