Vancouver Ukulele Circle - Vancouver, B.C. Formed in September 2000 by Ralph Shaw, Vancouver's own "King of the Ukulele", and Virginia Ise, the Vancouver Ukulele Circle provides a place where ukulele enthusiasts can meet monthly, play some songs and have a few laughs. We meet on the third Tuesday of every month, and you're welcome to join us.


Nanaimo Ukulele Circle - The Nanaimo Ukulele Circle meets once a month on a Sunday at Thanos Greek Taverna, 215 Terminal Avenue N in Nanaimo, B.C. The group offers "opportunities to 'jam', showcase, learn, and support others who share a passion for making music on the ukulele". South Surrey / White Rock Ukulele Circle - The South Surrey / White Rock Ukulele Circle meets on the last Saturday of the month from 2 pm to 4 pm at Semiahmoo House Society, 15306 - 24 Ave. Surrey, B.C. Founded by alumni of the Vancouver Ukulele Circle, it offers a place for ukulele players of all skill levels who live on the south side of the river to meet and play. Monterey Ukulele Club - Victoria, B.C. The group meets year-round on Mondays from 1-3 pm (execpt for statutory holidays) at the Monterey Recreation Centre in Victoria, B.C. (250) 370-3700. Membership is restricted to members of the Centre (for adults 50+) with some annual performances. The group lays claim to be the "oldest continually functioning ukulele club in the world". Monterey Centre Ukulele Course - Victoria, B.C. The Monterey Recreation Centre's courses for ukulele continue to be very popular. Level I and Level II sessions are offered both in the day and the evening. The courses run three times a year beginning in October, January, and April.
